Synopsis

It tells the tragic story of misguided good intention, of family love and of the personal hopes and dears that lay behind several gangland killings.

Paul Nixon (Sean Maguire) has grown up with the poverty and violence that is part and parcel of life in certain parts of South London. Now in his twenties, Paul has a job in the media and a successful girlfriend, Sarah (Josephine Butler). He is on his way up.

When his Mother (Rita Tushingham) is attacked however, instinct tells Paul that he must exact revenge, but when Pussycat Lenny (Nicholas Ball), the professional villain he hired to carry out the beating asks for a favor in return, Paul is sucked into a life of drugs, violence and death.

Character

Sean plays Paul Nixon. Young and naive but also on his way up with a good job and great girlfriend. He has a good relationship with his mother, so it’s really hard for him to deal with her attack and he goes to the wrong people to help him out with the scumbag that attacked her. Paul soon learns that nothing comes for free and that he has a high price to pay.
